This is a genuine ammonite fossil sourced from Morocco, measuring approximately 5.20 inches in length. The ammonite is an authentic fossil; however, its central ribs have been carved to enhance it for display purposes. All other ribs are natural and are not carved. Prior to this enhancement, the fossil's front surface would have closely resembled the appearance of its back, as shown in the second image.
